EXTERIOR CLEANING TIPS

INTERIOR CLEANING TIPS
Bags with unfixed lining
Empty contents of the bag completely and pull the lining gently up and out of the bag before using a lint roller or vacuum to remove any debris. Use a soft cloth dipped in a mild soap and warm water mixture and lay the lining onto a fresh towel before cleaning to ensure any excess moisture is absorbed. Wring the cloth out thoroughly and carefully wipe the lining using a gentle sponging motion. Leave your FELIX + STONE bag open and allow to dry completely before storing or using.
Bags with fixed lining
Empty the contents of the bag completely and use a vacuum to remove any debris. Use a soft cloth dipped in a mild soap and warm water mixture and wring the cloth out thoroughly, then carefully wipe the lining using a gentle sponging motion. Fold a towel and place snugly inside the bag for 30 minutes to absorb any excess moisture. Leave your FELIX + STONE bag open and allow to dry completely before storing or using.
ZIPS + HARDWARE
We recommend that you either hold or place your FELIX + STONE bag onto a flat surface when zipping and unzipping your bag. Do not grasp your bag by the zips alone to open and close it as this could cause the zip to misalign and/or jam and could cause the zip slider to separate, resulting in not being able to close the zipper teeth properly. It is also important to take care when packing your bag and not overload it for these reasons.
Please be aware that over time hardware may wear or fade due to environmental factors, especially in areas of high use.
USING YOUR BAG
Our bags are designed to carry everything you need for an everyday outing, but please note that overloading your bag and/or forcing the zip may result in unnecessary stress and damage which would constitute misuse. Please refer to the care instructions provided and listed above and pack your bag carefully to avoid this.
Shoulder straps should be attached to the appropriate location on the bag as outlined in the product description. Please do not attach shoulder straps to the zip pullers on any bag. This again could cause unnecessary stress and damage, which would constitute misuse.
Please be aware that areas of high use may start to show signs of wear and tear, e.g. handles.
It is important to note that though our bags are designed to accommodate items for baby/toddler, as with any handbag, it still needs to be taken care of in order for it to function properly.
Vegan leather may fade or discolour with prolonged exposure to sun. When your bag is not in use, we recommend stuffing it with paper to keep its shape, placing it in the FELIX + STONE dust bag provided and storing it in a dry, moisture free space out of direct sunlight.
Wipe clean after each use.
Spot clean using a clean, soft, non-abrasive cloth dipped in a mild soap and warm water mixture. Wring the cloth out thoroughly and wipe using gentle, repeated circular motions. Follow up by wiping gently with a damp cloth (water only) and dry with a clean, soft cloth.
Wrinkles and folds in the material can be loosened by gently steaming, hanging over a smooth surface or laying flat.
Please be aware that anything containing concentrated pigments, permanent markers, and oil-based products may cause staining or marks. Avoid your mat coming into contact with sharp objects.
Dry your multi-use mat completely before storing.
Do not soak, machine wash, iron or tumble dry.
We recommend using a fabric/leather friendly sanitiser spray or mild vinegar and water solution from time to time to thoroughly clean your multi-use mat.
Do not expose to prolonged sunlight as this may cause fading, discolouration, warping or shrinkage. Please be aware that mats could become hot when left in direct sunlight for an extended period of time.
Any debris that adheres to the underside of the mat can be removed with a lint roller or vacuum. Use a stiff brush for stubborn debris, i.e. dry grass.
